ALPACA RUG CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Alpaca rugs are made with natural alpaca fibers. There are no dyes used in any of the rugs so variations in color come naturally.

Construction: This distinctive alpaca area rug is hand loomed by experienced weavers. 100% alpaca fiber is spun around a jute core which gives the rug years of durability and also has the advantage of being reversible. It resists fading and wear and provides a certain amount of soundproofing.

Appearance: The unique hand woven alpaca rug with European like texture shows occasional unevenness and nubs. These characteristics give each rug a one of a kind look.

Cleaning and Care: Vacuum your rug with a smooth surface attachment on a frequent basis. There will be a slight fiber loss each time, but so minimal as to be unnoticeable. Spots are easily removed with mild soap and lukewarm water. You may shampoo the entire surface with Woolite or have it professionally cleaned. For your rug and your safety a quality foam (or similar) under pad is recommended.
