100% ALPACA BLANKET CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Your new 100% American alpaca Pendleton blanket has been made to be both beautiful and usable.  By using the following care and storage instructions, you should be able to enjoy your blanket for generations to come.

Washing: The best way of maintaining the life of your Pendleton blanket would be to have it dry-cleaned.  However, you may obtain nearly the same results by hand-washing your blanket in cold water and hanging it to air-dry.  You may also machine wash your blanket if you have a hand-wash cycle on your washing machine, using cold water.  You may also include hair conditioner (like you would use on your own hair) in the rinse for added softness.  Again, air-dry your blanket to avoid matting and to maintain its beauty.

Storing: You may store your Pendleton blanket in a vinyl bag with a lavender sachet, cedar chips, or a dryer sheet to repel moths that could damage the wool.  We do not recommend mothballs, as the scent permeates the fiber.

With proper care and maintenance, you should be able to enjoy your 100% alpaca Pendleton blanket for years to come!  Should you have any questions regarding your blanket, feel free to contact us.
